The Libra Future Fund Board of Directors meets in April, July and November to consider grant applications. Once paper applications have been reviewed, the Board schedules meetings with potential grant recipients, wherein the Directors pose specific questions regarding project ideas. Funding decisions are made based upon both the paper applications and in-person interviews.
Once the Board determines which applicants will receive funding, the Directors work with recipients to arrange a funding schedule. This funding schedule reflects the monetary needs of recipient's project at different points during project completion and is based upon the timelines submitted by the grant recipients.
Progress reports are required to be submitted by all grant recipients. Due dates for progress reports are arranged in a manner similar to that in which funding arrangements are made (i.e. due dates are dependent upon the specifics of each project). The LFF Directors work with recipients directly to organize project report due dates.
